I got excited when I saw this...until I saw Scarlett as the Black Widow. Bleh. Also, why doesn't she have any actual superpowers?
And before you get into an argument with me about the integrity of the "back story," I don't know it. I didn't read comics. Why? I don't know, probably cause I'm a girl. Comics suck for girls, they aren't written for us, they are written for boys. Silly little boys. Just making a point.
Well, I'm a girl, and I read comics. They're not necessarily for boys (though sometimes they really, really are. *sigh*)
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question, Black Widow doesn't have superpowers because doesn't NEED superpowers. Her asset is as an intelligence agent. That's why this team works, she's not a tank (Hulk) or a ranger (Hawkeye) or a mage (Iron Man). She's a rogue, she brings a much needed element to the team.
